Skulk @ Gallery 2010

Hey Kids

On Thursday i went to Gallery 2010 to check out the new works by local Sydney artist Skulk.  I’ve always been impressed with his work, creepy white eyed characters with streched out arms and a creepy persona to them, and i was not disapointed with the show at all.  The pieces had tons of movement about them, with allot of characters sneaking or falling, which looked really effective with little to no background texture and almost exclusively in black and white.   I think it’s fair to say that there was some Bafcat influence in Skulks latest show and i’ve gotta say, it looked pretty awesome.
