Westsyde Tribute.

Hey kids

So for the last 6 weeks I’ve been writing for the guys at Westsyde Connection as a blogging intern.  It was a pretty awesome gig and i’d like to say a massive thanks to the guys over there for the opportunity to write for them.  My first post was an interview with Shannon McKinnon the organiser for the Secret Walls project currently running in both Sydney and Melbourne, check it out in the link below.

The second post was a shout out to one of my favorite Sydney artists Bunkwaa who took his time out to do an interview and let me know about his up and coming projects while at the same time shedding some light on his view of street art.  Props to Waa, i know he stressed over this interview.

My third post was a bit of a mix up.  This is an opinion piece about the removal of street art and the fuss that people make.  I take a look at a Banksy piece removed earlier in the year and give my two cents on the issue.

My fourth and final post is apparently a world exclusive, it’s an interview with the writer and events manager of VNA magazine Roland Henry.  He gave us the heads up on things to come for VNA and how it’s evolved over the years just before the Sydney launch party.

Finally I’d like to say a huge thanks to Westsyde for taking me on-board and also to John Saulo for editing and arranging all my posts, making them look pretty and such.
Thanks again guys.

Peace
J
